Contractors are usually eager to learn about new products and services that could potentially differentiate themselves from the competition, and John Burrell definitely falls into that category. As the fourth-generation owner of Hall Heating and Cooling Service, Pelham, N.Y., he was excited to learn about a new micro combined heat and power (CHP) system that is designed for large residential and small-to-medium commercial applications.
“We are a very diverse company, so when we met Blueprint Energy Group while researching a geothermal system last year, I was intrigued to see that there was a micro CHP unit in the house,” said Burrell. “I had seen CHP units in commercial applications before, but I’d never seen one on the residential side.”
