May 10, 2012: BPI Works With RSES to Expand Accreditation Options for HVAC Contractors
MALTA, N.Y. — The Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) has announced another new accreditation option for HVAC contracting companies. BPI said it will now accept the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) certifications as prerequisite criteria for its accreditation program.
BPI said it recognizes the specialized training and work experience HVAC contractors bring to the home performance industry, and it has reviewed HVAC industry specific certifications that meet its criteria for accreditation. In March, BPI recognized the HVAC specific certifications from North American Technician Excellence (NATE) and the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA).
