March 28, 2012: Ingersoll Rand Receives EPA Climate Leadership Award
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Ingersoll-Rand plc was recognized at the first annual Climate Leadership Awards for the company’s efforts to publicly report and verify corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and publicly set aggressive GHG emissions reduction goals. The Climate Leadership Awards is a new program administered through a partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Climate Registry, the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, and the Association of Climate Change Officers.
The award was presented at the inaugural Climate Leadership Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
