SANTA BARBARA, CA — In a response to a recent News editorial on carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning deaths, new technology is being touted as an effective means to detect poisonous gases in indoor environments.
The Jan./Feb. 2002 issue of Sensor Business Digest discusses the issue of CO reliability, covered in some detail, with several studies cited as examples of the overall “failure” of the industry to consistently produce a reliable and long-lived detector.
