GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Based on the success of the pilot seminar offered in July 2004, a National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) Retro-Commissioning Seminar is scheduled for Feb. 10-12, 2005, in Orlando, Fla. This seminar is open to all individuals who are interested in learning the process for identifying, correcting, and commissioning existing building systems.
According to NEBB, retro-commissioning is the process of discovering and correcting problems in existing, under-performing building systems. Benefits of retro-commissioning include improved indoor environment and comfort, increased energy performance for buildings, increased occupant satisfaction, and improved system maintenance and upkeep.
