Vermont Governor Howard Dean has unveiled a long-term energy plan for the state that relies on energy efficiency and renewable energy to meet growth in the state’s demand for electricity.
“Vermont’s power supply is adequate for the short term,” the governor stated. “But it’s clear that in the near future we’re going to have to meet increased demand, and also work hard to control our power consumption.”
