ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA International) debuted its new Web-based laboratory system at its Midyear Meeting, held May 6-8, 2004, in Schaumburg, Ill. According to the association, the new program has two major components. The first is the Web-based "MyAMCA," which enables the lab's customers and members to get access to real-time information on their testing. The second is the internal paperless scheduling system, designed to make the AMCA lab more efficient.
"These programs were a natural next step after we implemented our highly successful lean process review of the lab's operations last summer" said Mark Stevens, AMCA International's director of laboratory services. "This process will speed communication between customers or members and our laboratory staff, making real-time project awareness a reality. In addition, this process will be a huge plus for our international membership with 24/7 coverage."
