The Sterling Group, a middle market private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of PoolPak International LLC. PoolPak is a leading manufacturer of dehumidification systems for large athletic pools, natatoriums in schools and universities, commercial pools and hotel/motel leisure pools.
Nanocap Technologies LLC has announced the Nanocap Process, which uses capillary condensation and then osmosis through a semi-permeable membrane to dry air. Based on nanopore technology and available for licensing, this patented process is said to be significantly more efficient than conventional dehumidification.
