Climate control industry veteran succeeds Harold Karp

Tecumseh Products Co. announced that Harold Karp has stepped down as president and CEO of the compressor manufacturer. He is succeeded by Doug Murdock, who most recently served as president of the Climate Products Group at Mueller Industries Inc.

Tecumseh Products Co. announced that Harold Karp has been named interim president and chief executive officer following the resignation of James Connor. The Tecumseh board of directors also approved the appointment of Gary Cowger as chairman.
Wolseley Canada has announced the following two appointments: Keith VanderVennet, currently the senior vice president of Wolseley Canada, is returning to Ferguson, Wolseley’s U.S. operations, in the role of senior vice president of sales. Darcy Curran will succeed VanderVennet as senior vice president of Wolseley Canada.
Tecumseh Products Co. has announced that Kent B. Herrick has resigned as a member of the board of directors and as its chairman. The company said it was advised by Herrick that his resignation was driven by the pace of the strategic decision making by the company.
