The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) announced the first edition of the IIR guide “CO2 as a Refrigerant,” written by Dr. A.B. Pearson, an expert in the field of CO2 application. The organization said the guide highlights the use of CO2 in various sectors.
There is so much talk these days about new refrigeration technologies and new refrigerants that it is sometimes difficult for contractors to sort out what’s theoretical and what’s actually up and running in the field. Here’s a snapshot of some of the latest refrigerants being utilized across various projects.
Danfoss recently participated in the ATMOsphere America 2012 event, held June 12-13 in Washington, D.C. The conference focused on the business case for natural refrigerants in the United States and Canada.
