A slim-profile unit cooler for walk-in cooler applications is designed for foodservice operation. Targeting medium-temperature applications, the Slim Contour integrates an energy-efficient advanced air mover with a modular design, high-strength resin housing, and a refrigeration-duty optimized small-diameter coil design. 

Designed to control refrigeration units, the KE2 Temp + Defrost saves time on installation by eliminating the need for both a time clock and defrost thermostat, the company said, requiring only wires to connect power, solenoid, and temperature sensor. 

Designed for walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerated warehouses, the KE2 Evaporator Efficiency controller (KE2 Evap) is unique not only for its approach to energy-saving defrost control, but also the benefit it provides in reducing or eliminating ice buildup in freezers, claimed the company.

With ongoing refrigeration system problems, and no replacement parts available for its old Beacon systems, the McDonald’s owner in Godfrey, Ill., looked to the ingenuity of its service company, R.E.C. Service Corp., for a solution.
