Duct-free mini-split models are available in 9,000, 12,000, 18,000, and 24,000 Btu, and come in ratings to 20 SEER. The 17 and 19 SEER Series are heat pump models and use inverter technology to achieve even greater energy savings and lower levels of noise and vibration.
The wall-mounted model added to the Art Cool™ duct-free system line is elegantly styled and allows for increased airflow throughout the room, according to the company. The 12K Btuh offers SEER up to 26, and the 9K model offers up to 28 SEER.
As ductless technology grows in popularity, so does the number of contractors installing the systems. Contractors across North America have reported that adding ductless systems to their product offerings has been a profitable endeavor.
