NEO Network developed to foster industry collaboration

Schneider Electric has introduced the New Energy Opportunities (NEO) Network™, a collaborative online platform to help commercial and industrial companies quickly identify and vet renewable energy, cleantech, and energy-efficiency prospects.

Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski, members of the City Council, other city leaders, and members of the business and nonprofit community gathered on the steps of City Hall to launch the city’s initiative to transition the community to 100 percent renewable energy sources by 2032.
IKEA announced it is furthering its renewable energy commitment with plans for biogas-powered fuel cell systems at four more of its California stores. A year ago, IKEA completed installation of such a project at IKEA Emeryville, one of the company’s two San Francisco-area stores.

A 17-state bipartisan coalition called the Governors’ Accord for a New Energy Future has been announced. It represents an effort by these states to develop and implement clean energy policies and initiatives that expand clean energy sources, modernize energy infrastructure, and build a clean energy economy.
