Minneapolis Saint Paul Plumbing, Heating & Air, an HVAC and plumbing contractor serving the Twin Cities area, has announced plans to expand its workforce with new job openings across multiple departments.

Bristol Compressors International Inc., a leading producer of compressors for use in air conditioning, heat pump, and refrigeration systems, announced it is planning to add 110 full-time jobs this spring.
Jasper Air, a division of Jasper Contractors Inc, has announced new openings in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, bringing 50 jobs to the state of Louisiana. In early 2011, the heating and cooling division launched in Phoenix and eventually plans to expand throughout the United States.
Recognizing the depth of consumer concern and its potential impact on their business, many service contractors have initiated employee screening processes to avoid hiring staff who may be convicted felons or registered sex offenders. FMI, provider of management consulting and investment banking to the engineering and construction industry, announced the release of its 2012 first quarter Nonresidential Construction Index (NRCI) report. The NRCI gained 7.8 points over last quarter to 58.1 this quarter.
