This webinar will explore belt-driven fan and blower applications in commercial buildings and the methods for obtaining and sustaining peak drive efficiency. Attendees will hear specific U.S. Department of Energy belt upgrade recommendations. Browning will outline how to quickly conduct an on-site assessment survey of belt-driven equipment in a commercial facility. An in-depth look at belt type, sheave/pulley combinations, existing wear of components, proper tensioning and sustaining adequate tension will be covered. The webinar will conclude with a discussion on justifying drive upgrades and the estimated payback periods. A brief question and answer session will follow.
