The conference offers concurrent sessions that allow attendees to pick the topics or tracks that best suit the needs of their programs. These tracks may include: energy auditing, emerging technologies, technology in the classroom, working with new refrigerants, teaching techniques, and best practices.
The general sessions provide an opportunity to bring all of the attendees together to discuss common issues effecting everyone such as recruitment, retention, placement, new regulations, etc. The general sessions also offer the opportunity for attendees to network with peers from across North America where a great deal of ideas are exchanged.
To enable instructors to verify the depth of their knowledge and ability to relate subject matter effectively, HVAC Excellence developed specialized educator credentialing exams. During the conference, attendees have an opportunity to take the HVAC Excellence HVACR educator credentialing exams free of charge and validate if the attendee has the retained knowledge necessary to teach the competencies of their program or identify for them the areas in which they need professional development.
The HVACR industry exposition allows attendees to learn about the latest innovations in equipment, tools, test instruments, software, controls, refrigerants, recovery machines, curriculum, chemicals, tool kits, certifications, educational trainers, and meet with companies that can extend your job placement locally and nationally.
The conference is open to anyone involved in training current or future HVACR technicians. This includes but is not limited to HVACR educators; Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) instructors; wholesaler trainers; utility trainers; contractors that provide training; and maintenance, repair, and operations trainers.
