  • Scott Arendt and John C. Pfeffer will join the Moisture Control Services (MCS) (Amesbury, MA) division of Munters Corporation. Arendt will serve as industrial account manager and Pfeffer will serve as industrial sales manager for the division.

  • Engineered Support Systems, Inc. (St. Louis, MO), has received a contract valued at approximately $80 million for the production of 100-kW and 200-kW Tacital Quiet Generators from the U.S. Army. The Army has also placed an order totaling $10.8 million for 3-kW Tacital Quiet Generator sets.
  • Tecogen (Waltham, MA) announced that its Tecochill systems have become the first natural gas-driven chillers eligible for cash rebates under the California Energy Commission’s “Innovative Peak Load Reduction” program. The program will pay up to $250 per peak kilowatt saved, plus a bonus for savings that can be delivered in time to help alleviate this summer’s anticipated peak shortage.
