Charlie Briggs is manager of business & industrial advertising for The Tampa Tribune, Tampa, Fla. Before joining The Tribune he was a sales engineer for EGC Inc., a manufacturer of controlled environments (temperature, humidity, and lighting) for the scientific community. He studied engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
