CHICAGO - The first official chapter of Women in HVACR (WHVACR) has been established in Chicago with 52 members. The chapter recently elected the following officers:

•President:Charlotte Flesher, sales estimator, International Piping Systems (IPS);

•Vice president:Jayne Guerrieri, field procurement manager, Siemens Industry Inc.;

•Treasurer:Michele Mele, controller, J.C. Power Control;

•Secretary:Rebecca Yassan, sales engineer, Steam Sales Corp.

The chapter plans to hold quarterly meetings and to host social, fundraising and networking events.
