Unico Inc. and ArgoClima announced a partnership at the show that will bring the Italian Technibel line to the United States.

CHICAGO — At the AHR Expo, Unico Inc., which manufactures small-duct, high-velocity central heating and air conditioning systems, announced a partnership with Argoclima, which is based in Milan, Italy. Unico will sell ArgoClima’s Technibel line in North America, Central and South America for the first time. ArgoClima will also begin selling Unico products in Europe.

According to Shawn Intagliata, president of Unico, the partnership is exciting because Unico can no offer its internal variable-speed blowers with Argoclima’s outdoor inverter units.

The Technibel line includes an air-to-water heat pump with a 4:1 COP that was on display at the expo.
