MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — Watkins Heating and Cooling of Springboro, Ohio, announced a two-year commitment to provide free furnace and air conditioner maintenance to Hope House Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter in neighboring Middletown, Ohio.

The commitment includes a donation of time and services to perform scheduled maintenance for the shelter’s furnaces and air conditioners for two winter seasons and two summer seasons.

“Our mission is to bring comfort to our neighbors, regardless of their situation,” said David Watkins, vice president of Watkins Heating and Cooling. “We believe strongly in the mission of Hope House, and we’re excited to help ensure their residents stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.”

The new donation adds to the company’s history of service to Hope House Rescue Mission, including previous discounted HVAC installation work and the donation of company truck time for community residents to donate large items to the shelter.

“We are so grateful for the work Watkins Heating and Cooling will do for us,” said Mitchell Foster, Ph.D., executive director of Hope House Rescue Mission. “Because of their donation, we can more affordably and efficiently keep our residents warm, allowing us to focus on the hard work of transforming lives. We greatly appreciate their efforts and giving spirit.”
