The software package uses standard ACCA Manual J or ASHRAE Loads Input as well as climate tables of nearly 300 North American and worldwide cities and a new Windows user interface with photos, illustrations, and online help. The software enables contractors to prepare sales presentations that compare up to four different systems (two geothermal, one air-to-air and one fossil) and offer base, good, better, best options. The package also enables contractors to generate proposals based on a base, good, better, best sales scenario. The software package enables users to store and retrieve utility rate files. The package also includes dual-fuel backup; seasonal performance algorithms for air-to-air, furnace, and air-conditioning systems; more than 30 preconfigured loops with automatic loop sizing capability; and 10 soil selections.
