The EKO 1.5 heat recovery ventilator air exchanger is designed for residential ventilation. According to the manufacturer, the air exchanger’s core recovers 80 percent of a home’s heat or cool air. Features include two high-performance electronically commutated motors, which consume 13.5 W each (at low speed), 6-inch diameter ports located on top of the unit to simplify installation, and provide a cleaner appearance. Four speed settings - 40-80, 53-105, 66-132, and 80-157 cfm - are available at the touch of a button. Used with the Altitude control, the air exchanger offers the programmable Smart mode feature, which takes complete control of the unit, along with an LCD screen.
