The Climasureâ„¢ heat pump has a SEER rating of 13+ and an HSPF of up to 9.0. When matched with one of the company's compatible variable-speed air handlers or gas furnaces, the heat pump can achieve efficiency levels above 14 SEER and up to 9.5 HSPF. Large condenser coil surfaces increase the heat pump's efficiency by improving heat transfer and reducing the unit's workload. The unit's upward discharge airflow, rigid top panel, and cushioned compressor mounts further minimize operating sounds. The unit features a demand defrost system that cycles the unit into defrost mode only when needed. A high-pressure relief valve and solid core filter-drier extend the life of the compressor. The coils are constructed of copper tubing and coated aluminum fins.
