Group North America (CGNA) hosted its annual Fall Members Meeting in
mid-September at the Hilton St. Louis Airport. Beginning with the CGNA board of
directors meeting, the two-day conference brought together over 40 distributor
members to address specific business issues.
Responding to customer needs, Heatcraft Refrigeration Products LLC (HRP), introduced its first 10-25 hp condensing unit stocking program. The stocking program includes seven low- and medium-temperature condensing units.
Knaack LLC made its factory-authorized Knaack® and Weather Guard® replacement parts available for customers at multiple distribution centers. The products are packaged in easy-to-read containers, providing a clear indication as to the product model and generation that each replacement part fits.
The Home Depot® has amended the purchase and sale agreement for HD Supply to an acquisition corporation formed by affiliates of Bain Capital Partners, The Carlyle Group, and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. The terms of the purchase and sale agreement were amended to reflect an $8.5 billion purchase price.
Grainger and approximately 700 attendees opened a newly relocated Madison Heights, Mich., location with a community open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony. According to the company, the new, larger facility will offer customers more products at a more convenient location.
The Noland Co., a Ruud distributor, has opened its 13th Prostock location. The new Myrtle Beach store joins the company’s other locations in Alabama, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
