Johnson Controls Inc. announced it will be opening seven new Source 1 HVAC Supply Centers in Illinois, Michigan, and Missouri this fall. Source 1 is the exclusive supplier of factory authorized service parts and residential accessories for all Johnson Controls unitary products residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.

Emerson announced an agreement to sell Network Power to Platinum Equity and a group of co-investors. The transaction is valued at $4 billion. Emerson also announced it has agreed to sell its Leroy-Somer and Control Techniques business units to Nidec Corp. This transaction is valued at $1.2 billion.
