Schneider Electric has announced the start of construction on a $5 million energy savings performance contract (ESPC) project with the city of Tupelo, Mississippi. It is expected to reduce the city’s utility budget by 18 percent, saving more than $140,000 in annual energy costs or $2.8 million over the life of the project.

SmartWatt Energy has completed a major sustainability project for wire rope manufacturer Bridon American at its Hanover, Pennsylvania, facility. UGI presented a $100,000 rebate check to Bridon American during an event at the facility.
Tecogen® Inc. has announced the sale of a CM-60 combined heat and power (CHP) module to the Supreme Sports Club. In addition to providing electrical power to the facility, the CHP system will provide domestic hot water and pool heating at a far lower overall operating cost than the existing configuration, said Tecogen.
