Thomas Register expands B2B online purchasing

NEW YORK, NY — Thomas Register, publisher of the CD-ROM and print guide for sourcing and purchasing industrial products and services, announced the introduction of Advanced Order Online technology.

By visiting the company’s Web site (www.thomasregister.com), purchasers can obtain detailed product information, send RFQs to manufacturers to identify the best price available, and conduct price negotiation online. Buyers link directly to manufacturers who can respond to RFQs, orders are placed directly, and the advertiser provides acknowledgement of the order and shipping notification, as available.

Advanced Order Online helps suppliers as well as purchasers, enabling suppliers to receive and manage orders and RFQs, maintain up-to-date product information, and process payments online through participation in the Thomas Register B2B e-commerce. Advertisers can also develop and maintain custom catalogs.

Thomas Register Online is a resource of industrial and manufacturing information and B2B electronic commerce. It is published by Thomas Register, which lists more than 157,000 companies, 64,000 product headings, 7,800 online catalogs and web links, and 135,000 brand names.
