Taco Introduces Pumps, Circulator, Software

The new CI and FI pumps will total 41 models and will have a flow range from 25 to 4,000 gpm. Replacing Taco’s existing CE and FE Series pumps, the new models are said to offer improved efficiencies and an extended performance range. The units will be available in 125- and 250-psi working pressures, 50 and 60 Hz. Future models will handle high-flow, low-head applications.
The 006-IFC circulator eliminates the need for an in-line flow check. As a result, the company says, the circulator provides improved system performance over a unit with an in-line flow check, and simplifies installation and maintenance.
Located at the impeller inlet, the circulator has been designed for easy service without having to remove the unit from system piping. Two direct-drive, low-power sizes are offered with 1/2- and 3/4-in. sweat connections.
In addition, the CD-ROM version of TacoNet 7.0 has been sent to all registered users. Those contractors and engineers interested in becoming registered users can contact the company to locate the nearest representative and sign up.
The software is also available at the company’s website at www.taco-hvac.com. The online version includes all the major features of the CD-ROM, except for having fewer CAD drawings.
The company also offered a new “Zone Control Family” brochure, describing its line of switching relays, zone valve controls, “00” priority zoning circulators, and fan controls.
