Sept. 20, 2004: PowerCold And York Sign Sales And Marketing Agreement

LARGO, Fla. - PowerCold Corp. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, PowerCold ComfortAir Solutions Inc., has signed a five-year sales and marketing agreement with the Unitary Products Group of York International Corp. PowerCold will use and promote York commercial HVAC products with its central HVAC system packages. York is supporting the relationship by promoting PowerCold systems with joint sales calls, promotional literature and product specs, performance software, and plant tours.

The joint marketing effort will target a number of specific customers and accounts including hotels, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and pharmacies. PowerCold anticipates that the joint sales efforts will create $50 million in new revenue over the next five years.

"PowerCold's unique business model for providing complete turnkey HVAC solutions adds tremendous value to key national account customers," said Chuck Thompson, vice president of national accounts, York International Corp., Unitary Products Group.

Robert Yoho, president of PowerCold ComfortAir Solutions, said, "York and PowerCold complement each other very well. We're both focused on providing flexible solutions that can be customized to meet the individual needs of each customer. Through our partnership, our clients will benefit from a wider range of products that ensure optimal performance in all of their HVAC applications."
