Metalbestos Model CV is a gasketed and butt-welded vent system for high-efficiency gas- and oil-fired equipment. It is made from AL29-4C, a superferritic stainless steel designed for corrosion resistance and structural integrity. To install, slide the vent system’s parts together and tighten the clamps; the appliance can be fired up immediately afterward. With the ProSeal system, the pipe can be taken apart and reassembled quickly, which makes inspection, maintenance, and rerouting of the system easy, says the company.
