The Puro-green 13™ is an extended-surface pleated panel filter. It is classified UL Class 2 per UL Standard 900. The filter has a heavy-duty moisture-resistant beverage board frame and is made of 100 percent synthetic media with 17.5 pleats per foot. Offered in a variety of widths and lengths, the 2-inch-depth filter has a support grid made of galvanized steel for rust resistance. The filter has a two-piece frame construction. Its double wall thickness around the outer edge and integral die cut cross members provide strength and rigidity. According to the company, Puro-green 13 filters are rated MERV 13, making them a sustainable component for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)/Green Building Initiative.
