ACR Group, Inc. (Houston, TX), has announced its operating results and sales for the quarter ended May 31, 2001, the first quarter of fiscal 2002. Net income increased 97% to $396,000, or $.04 per diluted share, in the quarter ended May 31, 2001, compared to $200,000, or $.02 per diluted share in the quarter ended May 31, 2000. Sales for the quarter ended May 31, 2001 were $39.7 million, a 20% increase over sales of $33.2 million in the same quarter of 2000.
