Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011: Nidec Shows Premium Efficiency PSC Motor for Condensers

LAS VEGAS - Nidec (formerly Emerson Motors) is highlighting its PEP™ (Premium Efficiency PSC) motor for condensers. The patent pending design is 76 percent efficient, saving up to 70 watts, says the company. The more they run, the more money they can save the end user - up to 15 percent lower watt usage.

The motor features ball bearings and is 158°F (70°C) rated. It is a totally enclosed, all position design with 48-inch leads.
