Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007: Staubach, Pearson Give Pep Talk at Daikin VIP Party

DALLAS - Former Dallas Cowboy greats Roger Staubach and Drew Pearson provided a pep talk regarding the value of teamwork at the Daikin AC Hospitality Suite/VIP Party, held Monday evening at the Fuse Restaurant and Lounge here.

Preceding the ex-Cowboys on stage were the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Invited guests had the opportunity to get pictures taken with the cheerleaders. Upon leaving the event, each received a “goodie bag” which contained an autographed picture of Staubach and Pearson, along with a football signed by the former Dallas quarterback and receiver.

“It takes teamwork to get the job done,” Staubach told the audience, after being introduced by Daikin officials. “And that is what Daikin has to do.”

Daikin recently announced the acquisition of Malaysian company O.Y.L. Industries, which Daikin termed “the fourth-largest global applied manufacturer and the third-largest commercial use air filtration manufacturer.” With the acquisition, McQuay International is now with Daikin, as McQuay was acquired by OYL in 1994.
