Tempstar, International Comfort Products: Two-Stage Gas Furnace

The SmartComfort™ VS 95 natural gas furnace features 95 percent AFUE efficiency and easy installation, plus the comfort and energy efficiency of two-stage, variable-speed heating. The furnaces are available in four models with heating inputs ranging from 40-100 MBtuh and cooling capacities from 1.5-5 tons. It is dual certified for one- or two-pipe installation, which can run horizontally or vertically. In a two-pipe configuration, it is direct-vent rated. Versatile 24- and 115-V connections allow easy attachment of electronic air cleaners (115V) and humidifiers (24 and 115V). For servicing convenience, the entire blower assembly is mounted on rails. The furnace features a patented, weld-free, stainless steel RPJ® III primary heat exchanger and a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger. Propane gas conversion kits are available.
