Spinwave Systems Inc.: IAQ, Energy Use Monitoring Kit

A field kit for monitoring a building’s energy efficiency and IAQ is available. It transmits the information wirelessly for both on-site and remote energy measurement. The Excel-compatible data can then be viewed on-site, sent via FTP to a remote server, or to a Web server, using HTTP Post. The field kit consists of one or more indoor environmental conditions monitors, one or more wireless pulse counters for measuring energy usage, and a receiver. The pulse counter wirelessly transmits gas or electricity meter values for remote monitoring. The indoor monitor is mounted on a tripod and includes wireless sensors for measuring temperature, rh, and CO2 levels. A built-in repeater expands the range of the monitor so that additional repeaters are generally not necessary.
