SolarHot: Solar Space Heating Pumping System

The SolVelox integrated solar pumping system is designed for space heating. The system integrates pumps, controls, valves, filtration, and heat exchange into a single package that enables an installer to take solar-heated water and tie it into a home’s radiant heating system. The heat exchanger is integrated into the package. The system is designed for closed-loop hydronic heating systems; specialty heat exchange tanks are not required. It mounts directly to the side of a standard 80-gallon hot water tank. The solar thermal package can heat multiple tanks and is available in drainback and glycol models. It can handle transfer loads in excess of 240,000 Btu per solar day.
