  • FieldCentrix (Irvine, CA) has been named a winner of the Cingular Best Solution Award for 2001. The award, which was presented at Wireless Alliance and Vision Exchange 2001, recognizes innovative commercial products for the Cingular interactive intelligent wireless network in field force automation, telemetry and transactions, and mobile professionals.
  • Environmental Support Solutions, Inc. (Tempe, AZ), has been appointed to the Advisory Committee of the Congressional Internet Caucus. The caucus is a bipartisan group of more than 100 members of the House and Senate working to unlock the promise and potential of the Internet. In the past, the caucus has addressed such issues as content, access, bandwidth, privacy, and security. Other companies on the committee include Microsoft Corporation, MCI WorldCom, AT&T, eBay, Inc., IBM Corporation, Compaq, and Novell.
