HVAConline Partners with ACCA

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — BuildNet, Inc., provider of manage-ment software and e-commerce services to the hvacr trade, announced that its HVAConline community signed a partnership with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) to enable ACCA’s 9,000 members to use HVAConline for information and programs.

CBE Launches Newly Designed Website

EBT Express Launched in Toronto

TORONTO, ON, Canada — A $7.7 million joint venture between Toronto Hydro Corporation and Ontario Power Generation (OPG) was launched this fall. EBT Express, abbreviated for electronic business transaction, is a “new breed” of e-commerce powered by Internet technology.

According to EBT Express, this venture “will be the first of its kind in North America to provide centralized electronic data manage-ment and transaction services to local distribution companies and energy retailers when Ontario’s new competitive electricity market opens next year.”
