PatioSchwank 2300 Series luminous infrared patio heaters can be installed in restaurants, hotels, country clubs, and other commercial establishments to extend the outdoor seating season or create year-round outdoor smoking areas. The patio heaters radiate heat from an insulated cabinet to occupants, rather than air heating, most of which is lost to convection, says the manufacturer. Powder-coated aluminized steel as well as stainless steel construction is available. Ranging from 30 to 43 inches long, the 23,000-, 35,000,
and 50,000-Btuh input models provide more Btu of infrared heat output than other infrared patio heaters on the market, claims the manufacturer. The patio heaters provide a radiating heat throw distance of up to 14 feet.
