Schwank Inc.: Patio Heaters
January 27, 2005
PatioSchwank 2300 Series luminous infrared patio heaters can be installed in restaurants, hotels, country clubs, and other commercial establishments to extend the outdoor seating season or create year-round outdoor smoking areas. The patio heaters radiate heat from an insulated cabinet to occupants, rather than air heating, most of which is lost to convection, says the manufacturer. Powder-coated aluminized steel as well as stainless steel construction is available. Ranging from 30 to 43 inches long, the 23,000-, 35,000, and 50,000-Btuh input models provide more Btu of infrared heat output than other infrared patio heaters on the market, claims the manufacturer. The patio heaters provide a radiating heat throw distance of up to 14 feet.
