Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International Inc. elected officers at the 47th Annual General Meeting. The officers are:
— President, Dr. W.T.W. Cory, Flakt Woods Ltd.;
— Chair of the board, Lance Nailor, Nailor Industries Inc.;
— Vice president, Thomas R. Edwards, Ruskin Co.;
— Treasurer, Lee Buddrus, Acme Engineering and Manufacturing Corp. and U.S. Fan International; and
— Director-at-large on the executive committee, Pete Neitzel, Greenheck Fan Corp. and Future Products Corp.
Also elected to AMCA International's board for three-year terms were:
— Michael Barry, Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd.; and
— Arthur LaPointe, C/S Group of Companies.

Philip W. Fairey has been named interim director of the Florida Solar Energy Center.

Jerry Skerven, P.E. and Doug Newby have been hired as national accounts managers by A.J. Manufacturing Inc. (Bloomer, WI).

Daniel J. Bennet will serve as president/CEO of Decker College/Construction Careers of America, beginning Jan. 15, 2003. Prior to this position, he was president of the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
