• The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) named Richard Marcus, RemTec International’s (Bowling Green, Ohio) CEO and president, as sectional chair for Chemical Reclaimers.

• The Unified Group’s (Broadview, Ill.) Service Management Forum will be held Sept. 16-19 in Baltimore.

• Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association’s (PHCC’s) Connect 2009 convention will be held Oct. 21-23 at the Sheraton in New Orleans.

• The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) awarded Kenneth Mentzer the Stanley Matthews Memorial Award.
