• The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International is testing ASHRAE’s Research Project RP 1272, “Inlet Installation Effects on Forward Curved Centrifugal Fans, Air, and Sound.”

• The Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) has chosen to formally endorse the Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s (ACCA’s), ANSI-recognized standard for Quality Installation Specifications.

• RCI Inc. (Raleigh, N.C.) will hold its RCI 2007 Symposium on Building Envelope Technology, Nov. 8-9, in Boston.
