• ASTM International (W. Conshohocken, Pa.) launched an online edition of the ASTM Dictionary of Engineering Science and Technology providing 76,000 terms contained in more than 12,000 ASTM standards.

• The International Green Energy Council (IGEC) appointed Tom Meyer, executive director of the Green Mechanical Council (GreenMech), to its board of directors.

• Heating, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) is hosting a Targeted and Regional Economic News for Distribution Strategies (T.R.E.N.D.S) Webinar on Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. Eastern time.
