• The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) promoted AHRI President, Stephen Yurek, to the position of CEO. His new title, president and CEO, is effective immediately.

• The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) launched a Web page providing detailed information about proposed Standard 189.1, Standard for the Design of High-Performance, Green Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings at www.ashrae.org/greenstandard.
