McQuay Launches Rewards Program

MINNEAPOLIS - McQuay International, a division of Daikin Industries Ltd., launched a promotional program for its U.S. and Canadian distributors network and their customers.
“With the economic pressures today, we want to reward our distributors and their customers for their continued loyalty,” said Ed Blackford, general manager of McQuay Parts. With this program, both the distributors and the installer/customer earn free reward points with their purchases.
Distributors will be receiving a comprehensive launch kit filled with marketing support materials for their organizations. The release package will include POP display materials, such as brochures, counter mats, posters, and a description of available reward categories, which are purchased using earned reward points. “We are helping the distributors promote themselves - this is about building their business and their brand,” said Robin Breth, manager of sales channels.
Customers will earn point based rewards as well, by logging their purchase activity on the Cool Rewards website, www.mcquaypartsrewards.com. To kick off the program, when McQuay customers register for the McQuay Cool Rewards program, they and their distributor receive 500 bonus points.
Points are rewarded for thousands of parts in the McQuay catalog, including semi-hermetic compressors, motors, VFDs and accessories, belts, bearings and bushings, hoses, refrigeration, and hand tools.
McQuay also announced its Race Days promotion, which will award one McQuay Parts customer a VIP race experience. The grand prize includes roundtrip airfare, hotel, race tickets, and a VIP pit and garage tour.
