May 16, 2011: ACCA Offers Disaster Preparedness Checklist for Contractors, Relief Aid for Members
May 16, 2011
ARLINGTON, Va. - Due to the recent serious weather events in the United States, including tornados, severe storms, and flooding, the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is offering HVACR contractors a disaster preparedness checklist. Go to www.acca.org/industry/community-service/disaster for a copy of “Be Prepared,” an in-depth checklist of preparations to make prior to a natural disaster.
ACCA is also reaching out to all members who may have been critically impacted by these severe weather events. If you are an ACCA contractor whose business was significantly impacted and need assistance, or you know of one who does, or if you wish to make a non-tax deductible contribution to the ACCA Disaster Relief Fund, contact ACCA Disaster Relief manager Rosemary Graeme at 703-575-4477 or email email@example.com.
The ACCA Disaster Relief Fund was established in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita to help members who experience an extraordinary natural disaster.
