  • CertainTeed Corp. (Valley Forge, PA) has selected Lyon, Conklin & Co. Inc. (North Wales, PA) as a member of the CertainTeed ProTeam, a group of preferred HVAC/mechanical insulation suppliers.
  • Lennox Industries Inc. (Dallas, TX) presented its 2001 “PSM of the Year” award to Robert Cole. According to Lennox, the award is presented to the parts and supplies manager “who has gone above and beyond on a daily basis.”
  • Camfil Farr’s Air Pollution Control Products Group (Jonesboro, AR), which markets dust, fume, and mist collection equipment, will now operate under the name of Farr Air Pollution Control (Farr APC). For more information, visit www.farrapc.com (website).
  • Zamil Air Conditioners (Damman, Saudi Arabia) has upgraded its quality systems from ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000. The certification covers its Damman manufacturing facilities and covers “Design, Manufacture, and Servicing of Air Conditioning and Air Conditioning Equipment.”
  • Lindab Inc. (Stamford, CT) has formed an exclusive partnership with AK Coatings Inc. (Middletown, OH) to manufacture round, non-residential ductwork with AgION® antimicrobial pre-coated steel.
  • Goettl Air Conditioning Inc. (Phoenix, AZ) has completed testing of an ICM-developed integrated control system. The new system will be immediately incorporated into the entire line of Goettl packaged heat pumps.
  • Crowley Company (Burton, OH) will now be known as Multi-Wing America. According to the company, the name better reflects its global position of the Multi-Wing brand.
  • A.O. Smith Water Products Company (Ashland City, TN) has introduced a new program for its Professional Contractors Association (PCA). Until Jan. 31, 2003, PCA members can earn points on the purchase of selected A.O. Smith heaters and boilers. Points can be redeemed for holiday foods and entrees.
