• McDaniel Metals (Houston) named Jim Luke (right) as president. He replaces Bill McDaniel who will continue to be an active member of the management and sales team.

• John Guest USA (Fairfield, N.J.) expanded its network of independent manufacturer rep agencies adding nine firms covering 16 states and the District of Columbia.

• American Standard Brands Canada (Mississauga, Ontario) relocated its corporate headquarters, consolidating the distribution center with all the head office personnel in a new 400,000-square-foot-facility.

• ICM Controls (North Syracuse, N.Y.) hired Pete Pierret (right) as business manager of its Smart Energy sales initiative.
